
To find print and electronic books, you can search in the library's online catalog. If you prefer, you may search just for e-books in an e-books database.
When searching, keep in mind that you should use only a few key words from your research question. You should also try to locate a subject or descriptor used in the database that closely matches your topic. These can be used to retrieve relevant, similar results and can be used in other databases.
Also remember that more is less. The more terms or limiters you use in your searching, the fewer the results.
NOTE: If the library does not have immediate access to a book you need, you can request that the library borrow it from another library by completing the interlibrary loan request form. This requires that you plan ahead, as it may take several days to obtain an item from another library.
