RL 300 - Faith and Values: Finding Articles

The following database provides quick and easy access to articles in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and The Washington Post. The most recent articles may not be available full text within the database; however, some are available on the papers' websites.
Keep the following in mind when conducting your search:
  • In the first search box, type "Wall Street Journal" OR "New York Times" OR "Washington Post" (copy and paste the bolded text, if you wish) and select SO Journal name from the dropdown menu.
  • In the second box, type the topic you wish to read more about, such as immigration ban, same-sex marriage, etc.
  • Finally, limit the publication range. You may find sufficient results by searching only in the current year (2017), but you may have to include the previous year in some instances (2016-2017).
  • You can see articles from specific newspapers by checking the corresponding box in the Publications limiter area to the left of the search results screen.
